Your Newborn Photography Session at The Baby Barn, Manchester
What To Expect During Your Newborn Photoshoot...
Our Newborn photoshoots last around 2 and a half hours and during this time you'll get to sit back, relax and simply enjoy the session! After a short consultation, Simone will do everything to style the perfect Newborn photoshoot to suit your tastes. We will spend some time settling and feeding baby, and once they are sound asleep we will use a variety of different sets and props to get the cutest sleepy baby photographs which you will treasure forever.
We also like to spend some time capturing a few heartwarming shots of you and baby, to ensure you are all included in the memories. Siblings can be brought along for a couple of pictures however due to timings and space restrictions we recommend they are brought by another family member to the first or hour last half hour of your session.
Most of the Newborn photographs we take are posed and sleepy. We aim to go for natural colours and keep things simple and beautiful with fine wool, cheese cloths, subtle headbands, hats and mohair wraps that keep the shots elegant and natural. We will safely pose your little one in adorable props such as baskets, buckets and we can even put baby on the moon!
We like to use simple retouching with creamy skin tones, giving all our images the beautiful look of fine art portraiture.
What To Bring...
Please do feel free to bring any items you may want to make the photoshoot more personal to you, for example, a small teddy bear or baby's first blanket. Please make sure you and any siblings attending either wear or bring black clothing with you for the parent/family shots. This way the final images will compliment the style of your newborn photoshoot perfectly.
Bring along everything you may need for baby to be comfortable, however do not panic if you forget anything. The Baby Barn is fully equipped with nappies, wipes, creams, formula and other essentials to make sure we create a calm, cosy and stress free environment for all.
